They have in Scotland.
Don't the English realise that Scotland start their holidays 6 weeks earlier than Englandshire?
When I were a nipper it used to drive me nuts. No kids telly until half way through the holidays, then we'd miss the end of any drama serial because we were back in the classroom.
Have a little awareness about the rest of your Kingdom, people.

With a bit of luck, Mummy and Daddy have taken him away on a VERY long holiday to an exotic place without an internet connection.
(Not that there are many of those left nowadays.)

Perhaps the inevitable happened and he got hold of the full list of channels on the Sky EPG - it'll take him weeks to concoct complex codes for them all.

Either that or he's still trying to get his B1 codes to "catch on" at Digital Spew. Despite being a member for 2 years. He had a thread about these adult play areas, and in 2 years it made about 2 pages, with him having to bump it every few months. It never occurred to him that no one gave a shit

For the benefit of all you lot, I was away last weekend. I went on a day trip last Saturday (set off very early and got back late - dead knackered), then Sunday I set off for a four night holiday in Cornwall. Today has been my first chance to look at Metropol or TV Home Forum since Sunday 24 June.
As for my
Indoor Adventure Play Complexes thread on Digital Spy, it has amassed some seven pages. Early last year some other user discovered the thread, and was as equally interested in it as me, and posted some lengthy posts in it. So there, it was NOT just me!

When I was a nipper I went to a private Grammar School, and we got about 9 weeks off for summer (from about first week in July to about 10th September).
I was envied by my mates at the local comprehensive, but I'm sure we lost out on other days elsewhere. I remember our spring half-term break being only 2 days as it was a short term anyway.

Northern Ireland school holidays are pretty much the same as Scotland's, summer started here last Friday. Not weatherwise of course.

Just when I went to my school they stopped Saturday mornings and introduced a very short Wednesday lunch which made up for it (sort of)
