TSK you and your being a valuable customer. I pay o2 that for 250 texts and 75 minutes and cry myself to sleep because I daren't call anyone for fear of running out of minutes.

When you add the 5 x Orange "free numbers" to other mobiles I don't think I've gone beyond the basic tariff by more than a quid.

In a bizarre way I have the iPhone to thank for that deal. I rang customer services when my contract expired and told them I was going to O2 unless they could persuade me otherwise.

The idea of dumping this deal to take a flashy handset doesn't add up to me. I'd lose any loyalty rewards as you're considered a "new" customer.

According to Rory Cellan-Jones on Twitter, Orange are reviewing their proposed Wifi Allowance afer 'concerns'.

That reminds me, why have the regulators still not taken a firm hand with mobile (/broadband/telephone) companies who say things like

mobile internet browsing: unlimited*
* fair use policy of 750mb/month applies

Just how is that kind of advertising acceptable? Why not just say "mobile internet browsing: 750mb/month"?

It's one of those things that you'd think would be short lived until it was stamped out, but like Hard Drives "1GB = 1000000000 bytes" it looks like it's here to stay.
