"Mass blocking and reporting" wouldn't make the slightest bit of difference and they wouldn't get banned if the people being reported were posting within the rules. The fact they get banned shows that they aren't. Just because Elon's normalised hate and abuse doesn't mean other sites should. Interesting just how many of the people who Elon regularly boosts and interacts with on Twitter have found themselves banned from Bluesky over the last week or two when they tried to join.
And yes, if JK Rowling turned up with her abusive transphobic bile, then her being banned would be fully justified.

I haven't trust twitter since 2015, Nor since it become x or all new Bluesky as they all have they own algorithm and ideas to highlight.
When it comes to Mass blocking and reporting I don't trust that for a second, to me its sounds like sending people Coventry, I bet people will end up in the cross fire.
It seem Ricky Gervais has seem to made it onto British bigot list, Again I have no idea why he ended up there and Ive not been able to find this list from Bluesky.
With JK Rowling surly she not sitting on Social media all day doing that! If I had that type of money I would be away water-skiing or playing football. I know she treading alot but I thought it was over a video game or that new Harry potter series.

It's worth baring in mind that Elon recently changed X so that paid users could earn a share of the revenue from interactions with their posts. This was presumably to increase traffic on X and advert revenue. The downside is that it effectively encourage people to make controversial opinions, as those tend to get more interactions.

It's a list a user has put together - like all lists - with a useful description too:
hedgehogsafety.bsky.social wrote:A list specifically for users who have pushed that special kind of British transphobia.
If you've made it onto this list and you're not British, congratulations on the double shame of being an anti-trans rights conspiracy theorist and acting like a Brit.
You don't have to subscribe to the lists, or block anyone on these lists. If you enjoy Ricky Gervais for some reason, then you can still follow him.

She's been doing it for years now, obsessed with attacking trans people.

There's a lot of malicious liking and following going on from a notorious doxxing and harassment website (which I won't name- but they're mentioned by the account Bilky linked to above). There's been hundreds (if not thousands) of accounts connected to it. Most have been banned very quickly, but new ones still keep springing up. I had one last week, and another this morning claiming "our like means you're being watched" when I mentioned Elon Musk in a post (clearly one of the terms they're monitoring. Posting pretty much anything about being trans gets it as well).

Her and Graham Linehan seem to spend little time on anything else these days. Linehan in particular is a depressing example of it becoming so much of an obsession it's destroyed his career and marriage.

I never really got twitter in the first place. That said, I’m not on any social media and not had a facebook account for over a decade now.

I'll see you over on DALnet made possible by your favourite IRC client. Those were the days.
