When I had my iPod touch, I hated using iTunes - it's the most bloated, awkward piece of software I've suffered. Do Apple make the Windows version purposely useless?

I think it's just a happy coincidence.

It's installed. A nice update, packing some good new features. Ability to move the keyboard around is useful, surprisingly, although I can't yet get the hang of using the split keyboard.

Apparently the second outage was largely caused by the backlog of data spewing through the system after the first one! Having one point of failure I can understand but not for half the world... and I certainly wouldn't have thought Slough would be so important

Having everything centralised is both a selling point and a huge disadvantage for Blackberries. The network was the reason why they could offer data long before WAP/GPRS was available and it's also the reason why companies liked it as it was more secure than using the internet.

However it's been a issue before their recent problems, several countries tried to close them down a while back because the BB network too more secure and not snoopable unlike the net.

I like it, but it messed up all of my apps; sorting them again has been a nightmare! The split keyboard works well on the iPad, but I haven't really found much use for it - who walks around typing on their iPad?

I like to hold it up in portrait orientation and type with thumbs, so it works very nicely for that purpose.

Windows Phone 7.5 has a integrated facebook, SMS and MSN chat. If the person is online it will send a MSN or Facebook message instead of a text.
