BBC News have just reported that it's been confirmed there will be a 7-day Sun by News International.
Apparently they have wanted to turn both the Sun/NOTW and the Times into 7 day a week operations. When this was put to the staff a few months back it obviously wasn't popular.woah wrote:BBC News have just reported that it's been confirmed there will be a 7-day Sun by News International.
It's odd though, I mean it's not as if the The Sun is regarded in the higher echelons of journalistic quality...Inspector Sands wrote:Apparently they have wanted to turn both the Sun/NOTW and the Times into 7 day a week operations. This is a very clever move to both reform the way their papers work, save money and jettison the tarnished NotW brand
That doesn't really matter though when you make millions of pounds.Malpass93 wrote:It's odd though, I mean it's not as if the The Sun is regarded in the higher echelons of journalistic quality...Inspector Sands wrote:Apparently they have wanted to turn both the Sun/NOTW and the Times into 7 day a week operations. Neither of the papers are but that's not really the point. The 7 day a week operation was inevitable, it's happening elsewhere in the industry too. But the Sun has the better brand, before recent events they would have had a 7 day operation with 2 different brands. It's a neat, but harsh solutionMalpass93 wrote:Inspector Sands wrote:It's odd though, I mean it's not as if the The Sun is regarded in the higher echelons of journalistic quality...
