I don't consider brass bands as a guilty pleasure... I proudly book my Black Dyke tickets each Christmas!
Surprisingly, we have a growing group of friends that join us there too!

I adore many, many soundtracks but these are my absolute favourites.

> Theme from 'Born on the Fourth of July'

> Transformation from 'Beauty and the Beast'

Fans of soundtracks unite:

Tony Blackburn : "Next Monday on BBC Radio 2 at 4pm I have the Top 30 Movie Songs then on Friday I'll be sitting in for Steve Wright ."

I've got some wav files from Todd-AO for Titanic; just adore a lot of Horner's work, Never an Absolution is nice; I love Hymn to the Sea too. In Leaving Port, go to 2:10 and listen on from there - brilliant I think!

I also like a lot of Mark Mancina's work for Bad Boys, no real idea why.

There is also the OST to The Life of David Gale too, that's great.

The works of Simon May. Eldorado, Howards' Way, Holiday 86, even Eastenders. The man's a genius.

I played the sideboard (the end of which sounded remarkably like a tom-tom) on his first ever composition to be recorded.

I hope you still receive a PRS performers royalty cheque every now and then!

Sadly no. The track was called 'Time' and I should think the tape is long gone.
