What self-respecting Beatles fan doesn't already have a collection of their music?
Am I missing something significant? Even pals on Facebook are saying, "ooh its been a long time coming
" etc.
What's the big deal?

This is a truly magical and memorable day - right up there with that time that I bought some milk, and that other day when I woke up. I'll never forget it.
Of course, as you say Gavin, anyone who likes The Beatles already owns their music, but now that it's available on iTunes, it will obviously be better than ordinary Beatles music.

Ah yes - nothing says quality like DRM riddled mp3s, with a thumbnail jpg of cover art.BBC LDN wrote:Of course, as you say Gavin, anyone who likes The Beatles already owns their music, but now that it's available on iTunes, it will obviously be better than ordinary Beatles music.
What is the point! If there's no DRM I assume it's dead easy to get rid of the embedded email?
And I also agree with anyone with the opinion that iTunes is the most bloated piece of software going.
I agree.Gavin Scott wrote:Yawnorama.
As is the whole idea that iTunes will "do a spotify".
Just get Spotify.

Well that's *not at all* insidious.Sput wrote:FACT ATTACK: There is no DRM on iTunes music, although they do embed your email address so the origin of an illegally shared file can be traced.

You can if you like.Sput wrote:I think we can pin this one on the record companies
I buy mp3s from other sites that embed nothing but the music.
