Bear in mind that she apparently called the BBC unprompted on Sunday - why would one do such a thing if one couldn't handle the ensuing maelstrom?
Incompetence and ego?

OK so let's sum this up:
1) Nobody phoned the anti-bullying helpline to complain about Brown.
2) Sir Gus Appleby did not have a word with Mr Brown regarding his behaviour.
3) Three patrons of the National Bullying helpline have resigned as a result of the helpline's actions.
4) This "charity" is heavily behind on its finances.
5) The "charity" is endorsed by David Cameron.
6) Downing Street has denied Gordon Brown ever hit anyone. Not that there was anything to deny. Reading through Rawnsley's book extract (which I doubt many people have done), there is no accusation of physical violence, only frustrated outbursts dripping with assumptions and conjecture. How can anyone judge what being "roughly" shoved aside is? One man's rough is another man's brush-aside.

Well, if you count the one who never was one.

In the course of about 24 hours, Mrs Pratt (what a relevant name) has single-handedly destroyed her 'charity'. No-one's going to want to be involved with it now, whether the Brown allegations are true or not.
I did wonder for a bit if it was the same one had to dispense with the services of 'Dappy from N Dubz' a few weeks back but it isn't.
The only good thing to come out of the whole debacle is the interview John Prescott did on Sky News earlier... what a fantastic bit of TV

I'm at least as bothered by the bullying that Brown and the rest of his incompetent shower have inflicted on travelling British taxpayers, as the rest of the world continues to give a massive vote of no-confidence in the Pound.
