Heavens, was this last night?
You mean I missed an opportunity to laugh at/with/for Ronnie?
How did it go?

I was wondering too.
He's gone very quiet. Do you think he's all right? You know what it's like in Manchester. Well, we know what Beep thinks Manchester is like.

You didn't miss much. I made the mistake of trying to interact with the MC. Then there was a long, blurred interaction with a heckler, then nerves got the better of me. I told a joke, but at that point they were all against me- no-one was going to laugh whether it was funny or not. So I've come away feeling really really bad, and I still don't know if my stuff was funny. I gonged myself off before he did. It was a dreadful experience.

I'm sure you'll rise again. Don't take it to heart.

I suppose I was ill-prepared, and have perhaps learnt from the mistakes I made that night, while at the same time, I can't do much to get rid of an audience made up mostly of wankers.
I'm currently looking into Edinburgh festival.

Sorry to hear it didn't go well Ronnie. Keep your chin up mate, and hope it goes a bit better next time (if there is a next time).

Thanks, Rob and Nick. As I said, I'm looking into what's on offer in Edinburgh.
