For those who have no clue what Mr Sput is on about, I'd ordered said cooker from Currys last week. After I'd bought and paid for it, and money was taken from my card, and I received confirmation that someone would phone to arrange what day it was to be delivered, a woman from Dixons phone to say that in fact the manufacturer wouldn't deliver it to Northern Ireland... and asked if I would like it delivered somewhere else instead.

And relax.

At least by getting it from Currys, you'll have no trouble remembering its birthday.

Or the name of the Service Manager, should you need him.

See here; oh, and here as well.

Just one other thing to add about the cleaning of a grill pan. Add the detergent to the grease and leave for about 5mins before adding the boiling water. It breaks down the grease more efficiently.
Also after every use, just give it a quick wipe with kitchen towel to absorb the excess. Makes the job of washing up the damn things less messy. The same applies for frying pans and roasting tins.
