After all, it's only an internet forum - albeit a very well designed and very hard-worked forum - and simply being a member does not give members the right to make demands above their station.

but the thing is, i didn't particularly want to be a mod, I never asked to be a mod, I only was a mod because I happen to be on the highest level of permissions on the site so I could drag the thing through 23 upgrades of the software, dispose of the spambots and redo the theme.

i doubt anyone noticed but I was very careful to make sure that my name did NOT return to black after my nice little holiday from the site a month back, and I must say that whole not having the idiots / pressure business was very nice and something I intend to continue with.
