I think since it launched, the selection on Anytime has improved a bit, and I have enjoyed watching a few programmes on it recently which I otherwise wouldn't have spotted on the EPG. John Shuttleworth's wonderful 'It's Nice Up North' from Sky Arts was a particular recent favourite which I'd have missed if it wasn't for Anytime.
I guess the problem with getting more broadcasters on board is that the more non-Sky programmes are on it, the less Sky are able to use it as a promotional tool for their channels, given limitations of hard drive space.
I did notice though that 'Catastrophe' from Channel 4 HD was on there the other day. I don't know if standard Sky+ boxes got the SD version though.
Generally, I'd rather have Anytime than not have it, but it's certainly not a must-have, and is no rival to Virgin's on demand service. It also rather annoys me that my hard-drive is whirring away, burning my electricity every night, recording hours of movies and kids' programmes to which I don't subscribe.
