I had an N73 on my last 18 month contract, was fine though quite slow. In fact it was very slow after a while. Didn't crash though I've heard other people having problems with crashing Symbian OS. Not had any problems with the N78 either, and quite a few friends are happy with N95s.

I've still got a phone that plugs into the wall. It works perfectly and people can't harass me while I'm out minding my own business.

I've recently upgraded to a Nokia N95. It's an excellent device with great functionality - I think the camera is particularly impressive on it, not that it helps you make a phone call. My only complaint would be the battery life: I end up having to recharge it every two days or so. Of course, that might just be because I use it as an MP3 player as well and have been playing around with the video function a lot recently...

Silver then. I have that and [still] hate it. The keyboard hurts to use and the markings are coming off. And the battery cover is held on by hope.

The keys on the N78 are too small. You do get used to it to an extent, but it's a triumph of design over functionality. The N82 is pretty much the same phone but with nicer keys and a better camera but they wouldn't do it for the same price (wanted another £10 a month).

I am about to send my Sony W910i back fot the second time. It's a lovely phone, it operates fine although the keypad lock isn't very good (a slider should ALWAYS lock upon closing IMO), however the reception on it is utter rubbish. I can never get good signal despite everyone else being able to get good bars.

So I'm now back on the old Nokia 1100. It's very hard to use, especially with the lack of T9 :(

This is the prompt for Nick to appear and explain how he's Vodaphone customer #003 and post the picture of the suitcase...

I imagine those phones were great when you broke down: you could probably use the battery to jump-start your car.
