Well I think we should find the centre of mass for all metropol members who plan on attending based on their home locations.

So, if I could have all your addresses and weights, I shall be on my way.

I'd possibly go if it was in Birmingham, I doubt it would be as there is large Scottish contingent. Manchester seems the likely option.

I'd definately be up for it, we'd just need to agree on the place. Since I'm resigned to the fact that somewhere in the south west will never be an option and I'll have to trek halfway across the country to get there wherever it is, then the selfish in me says fuck wherever is covenient for anyone else and lets just do it in London!

Actual places I'd choose would be Plymouth, Exeter, Bristol or Weston-super-Mare (the latter has a quirkiness that would somehow fit Metropol very well, sadly there can't be any photos on the pier now though).

Not so good for the 'Scottish Mafia' though :? Who would want to voluntarily spend time in Birmingham though?

I seriously recommend that you guys spend an evening on the banks of the River Tyne. We have such an amazing riverside it's unbelievable, and fuck Liverpool, we're the REAL capital of culture.

That's got me thinking, do we invite Tumbly?

With such eloquence, who can argue?

Hyma banned him!

I lived in Teesside rather than Tyneside, but I can definately say that the North East of England is the friendliest place to visit, and even more so to live in. I would welcome an excuse to go back there!

Mmm. If I threw my name in, the Metro-meet-up would end up somewhere in India. I guess, to cut costs, we could outsource the whole thing to a call centre in Bangalore.

Or alternatively, I could reluctantly agree to give it a miss. ;)

I felt guilty posting this, thinking of you Mr Q!

I'm in the home counties myself, so Brum would be good, but with a large Scottish contingent Manchester would also be fine with me, where I conveniently have a lot of family.

Me too!
I'd get roped into some DIY at the cottage. I'd want to avoid that. I have enough doing my own home!

Me and you would have to stay at Sput's then, rod! Or Ash's
