That reminds me of a department I worked in many years ago. The head of the department was driven by his routine, and obsessed with security.

At 16:45 we would hear him rattling the cabinets in his office next door to check they were locked before he left for the day. He would come into our office to say goodbye and then head for the car park. At 16:55 every day, without fail, we would hear him return to check his cabinets once again.

Would you see him during the day dancing along to Boogie Beebies?

Wake up to a random song from my iPod (not in holidays though)
then jump into the shower for a bit (the length depends on the day/mood)
get dressed, have breakfast (normally fruit and yoghurt with a tea/coffee) while watching First Edition on Sky News Australia and reading The Australian.
and then while I am waiting for my lift to school I'll jump online and flick through CNN, BBC News, Politico & facebook....

then after I get home from school I get out of my uniform asap
put on CNN and make Mi Goreng + a cup of tea for my afternoon snack

At the end of the day I have a cup of tea over Lateline on ABC1 (sort of like the BBC's NewsNight) and a final check of facebook, forums etc and then a shower and settle in bed with a book.

When I get up in the morning, the first thing I'll invariably do is turn my computer on, check my e-mails and a few news websites. I need to confirm that the world hasn't ended or something overnight before I get stuck into the new day. Similarly the first thing I do when I get into the office at uni is to turn the computer on - but that's only because it takes at least half an hour to load up.

Because I'm so apalling in the mornings I don't have a routine. I always have a shower first thing after getting up, the rest depends on how much I overslept.

Uni has just begun for me so I'm starting to get into little routines in the mornings. Starbucks' fruit bread is a must on a Monday morning.

Otherwise, it's the same websites I browse everyday really. BBC News, Hotmail, TVF, Metropol, Bebo, DS (I know, I know), Facebook, Scotsman and YouToob.
