Never had it, seems one day I just might do but I too think "Nigel, why are you such a dick?" is a brilliant one-liner. That will not be forgotten quickly in your office.
Along those lines - a recent sexual health campaign in schools in our area was entitled "Don't be a dick" so for weeks afterwards we'd just walk round and as you pass someone just say "Don't be a dick". Yes it WAS as hilarious as it sounds.

That's why I don't work there any more.

lol.. you have been away for far too long.

I want to turn this ito a kind of "what's wrong with the world" thread, so, please view this example of JM-style tolerance:

Some of the comments are a treat to read as well. I love it when people say "I'm as liberal as the next person BUT..."

I should note our latest post function is now being routed through the TVF swear filter before inclusion.

That story and its comments are a gem however, the lady whos child thinks he's gay because he kissed daddy goodnight is a particular favourite of mine.

Also the fact its next to a sob story about how horrid it was that Austin from X Factor was taunted with gay insults at school is that type of irony the mail specialise in :)

I've just found a comment in the Daily Mail poll: "Who would you add to the list of people who have ruined Britain?" They're talking in a general sense rather than a financial one.

Here it is:
" gordon brown, with help from all the other scottish mps in parliament, have done what the likes of william wallace and bonny prince charlie couldn't do.-- wreck england, englishness, and english people. they have trampled us to death with taxation, couch potato accountancy, multi-culturism, homosexuality, any religion so long as it's not c of e, and their insatiable appetite for invading foriegn lands and waging war."

This is the most AMAZING daily mail comment I have ever read. They've been busy up North haven't they!

Apparently the origin of all these troubles is contained within Gavin Scott's dressing table.

(Don't mention the face cream...I think I mentioned it once but got away with it)

I knew there was a conspiracy theory in this credit crunch lark somewhere.

I do miss Johnnyboy.

If you want a televisual version of the question "What the fuck is wrong with people?" and feel the need to get angry, try Nolan Live tonight at 9 on BBC ONE Northern Ireland.

I have set the telly-box to record this programme. It'd better be good!

I didn't say it would be good. I said it would make you angry and wonder what the fuck is wrong with people.

I got round to watching this on Sunday night. I noticed that most of the audience (and texters) were just as angry as me about the rather strange statements made by the US 'Tennis-Racket-Basher'.

I haven't normally agreed with Peter Tatchell during his TV appearances, but he actually made quite a level-headed and reasonable case throughout this one. He's obviously calmed down over the years.

I don't recall such an open (and quite heated) debate being aired in the rest of the UK. I was very surprised at the general view of the audience and contributors by phone/text. Obviously some fell into the expected stereotype I expected from the very 'conservative' Northern Irish, but I got the impression that most disagreed with the idea of 'curing' gay people.

PS: I also wonder if this comment makes it through the TVF swear filter for the "now on Metropol" signature ;)
EDIT (06:21) It gets through!
