Never heard of it. If only there were some way to numerically recognise popular websites.

There is.

Number 1, Carbuncle Corner.

Number 2, Metropol.

No need to go further.

I have no idea what mine is currently set to. I seem to always run Firefox by launching either BBC News, a forum, or Google.

I've had it set to BBC News since about 2000 or so.

Tis good.

i used to have mine set to a custom search page stored locally, but now i've got a blank homepage and use keyword shortcuts to perform searches from the address bar, so for instance if i want to google 'eggs', i'd type "g eggs" in the address bar, "w eggs" for the wikipedia article, "u eggs" for youtube, "imdb eggs" to see what the internet movie database has to say on the matter. i've got loads of them setup, it's much easier, couple this with the indexed history in firefox and it's a very power search tool.

all of my favourite sites are now automatically in the firefox drop down.

Which widgets?

I'm genuinely surprised that you don't use something Southampton, beer or darts related, or TVLive.
