I was lambasted on 'Metropol 7.0x' launch night for mentioning the design of the card and reliably informed, of course, that it is a "members card", not nectar!nodnirG kraM wrote:The card is of the same design as that which gave me financial relief last night.
Nectar

I specifically ordered Lee to use that version as I felt it was more metropol to have the up to date morrisons logo and the out of date nectar logo.Square Eyes wrote:I need to point out that the the Nectar card featured above is out of date.
me and the other half have a system where I get the clubcard points and he gets the nectar points (We both have cards however, they're just attached to the same respective accounts), so its actually his money, which makes me feel inferior to grindonAlexia wrote:Am I the only one here NEVER to have owned a Tesco Clubcard? The missus has one, and she gladly accepts points on my half of our occasional shops, but always takes her OWN Nectar points even though I have a Nectar card.

However... taking into account a large chunk of his points total was due to me buying two PCs from dell.com (after clicking through the nectar site) I think I can safely claim the majority of the points to be mine.

Note for AMEX Nectar card holders.....
*puts on scrooge outfit 8 months early*
If you have an Amex Nectar card, do check that AMEX are awarding the correct points for purchases in Nectar retailers ... i.e. 2 points per pound ... one standard and a bonus, I have just obtained an adjustment as they failed to have a number of Brewers Fayre outlets recorded as such. You can check this out easily using the AMEX online site.
Chris.

Well it looks like i will be a Nectar card holder again. I've just changed energy suppliers to EDF and they have registered me for a Nectar card so i can use the points towards my bill. And i get 800 points if i read my meter myself and post the card with accurate readings off to them. Woohoo!!

Ronnie is victorious, vivacious in victory like a venomous dog. Vile Republicans cease living while the religious retort with rueful rhetoric. These rank thugs resort to violence and swear revenge.
But Ronnie can punch through steel so they lose anyway.

That does remind me of the MOD instruction issued to establishments in the mid 90s regarding stationery orders. To reduce costs they would only be supplying black, red and green biros in future. Blue biros would no longer be supplied as this was expected to reduce requirement by almost 40%.Ronnie Rowlands wrote:We get the cold water from the hot tap. Ello all,
I'm new and this is my first post.
Just to correct the above as I work for EDF Energy. We award Nectar points on sign up, also every quarter you get points for being a customer (loyality points) and if you sign up to read reduce reward we'll give you points for reading your meter and bonus points if you manage to reduce your usage after a year. However the points cannot be as stated above, redeemed against your energy bills.
Best off going on a shopping spree at Argos or Sainsburys.

Welcome along.
Don't worry, nobody here takes any notice of Lorns when she's had a drop too much of the Cotes du Rhone and smoked a couple of those lovely ciggies where you add a bit of extra to the old Golden Virginia.
She usualy deletes the posts the following day, but obviously not on this particular occasion.
So, as an employee of an energy firm, how much staff discount do you get on your own gas and electricity bill?

Discount? What discount? Got nothing as yet but they are apparently working on it. That was in Jan. |Hopefully won't be too much longer.
