Is that so. I thought you lot were still celebrating. I had an emergency call at midnight on the 23rd to get to Inverness by 2pm new years eve to cut a rock starz hair. i could not make it. Fooking musicians think they can snap their fingers and everyone else will jump.

You should have hopped on the train and come back via Edinburgh.

Train?! I would have had to go by sleazy jet to get there in time. I would have loved to be in Edingburgh fo hogmanny. Instead i sat on bonnet of a jag with a bottle of bolly overlooking the channel tunnel. Then went home to play a game of chess which lasted till i passed out.

It's like something from Shameless.

Isn't much of it underwater? Not the greatest of views I would have thought.

Its not very scenic but from where we were parked you can see everyones fireworks going off in Folkestone. We used to go up to the White cliffs of Dover. The ferries would sound their foghorns at midnight and Dover Castle would set off their fireworks. These days though they close the gates to the cliffs of a night. Something to do with the terrorism act.
