I prefer the Post Office as well Lorna, but that's probably because I live next door to it!
What I'm baffled about is the lack of parity between mobiles and home phone services right now. You've got to pay BT extra for stuff you get as standard even on PAYG like caller ID or actual text messaging if you've got a phone that can handle it, AND you don't get anything like the free minutes/texts you do with even the cheapest contract mobile. The only advantage I see them having is free 0800 calls. It's really not work 12 quid a month.
