No problem; we could always call you "Tumble" to simplify matters!

Hi Guys,
Not been in here for a while, but thought I'd add my thoughts to this subject...
We always have fireworks either on November 3rd (my dad's birthday) or November 5th... and then if we're at home in London for New Year we'd maybe have one big one at midnight. We also occasionally go to an organised display in Ravenscourt Park in Hammersmith (usually the Saturday evening around Guy Fawkes night).
Now of course thanks to the ever increasing ethnic "minorities" in this country, the period for letting off fireworks seems to have increased because of all the festivals around this time of year, for example Ramadan, which seems to be at a different time of year each year, and Diwali.
For those of us with pets who live in areas with heavy ethnic minority populations, this can be very distressing for them.
Fortunately, neither of my dogs or my cat seem to be too bothered when we let off our fireworks, but a friend of mine had his cat go missing a year or two ago, it was very young and due to some illness needed a lot of medical attention, and I'm sorry to say I don't think he ever found it after it went missing (presumably due to being scared by fireworks).
So, those of you that live in areas that aren't as fully populated by ethnic minorities should really be thankful that the period of fireworks being let off is probably shorter in your area than it is in areas that have more members of the ethnic minority.
Remember - it's not just people celebrating Guy Fawkes or New Year's that are to blame!
