I doubt it would be, their own T&Cs probably forbid it and it's probably forbidden under the Data Protection act

Edit: The Data Protection act covers data that could potentially be used to identify any living person. In this case, you have not explicitly given them permission to publish your IP address, therefore AFAIK they may well be in breach, as the living person has the right to require that said information is not used in a way likely to cause damage or distress.
