Some of the old WHAM music tracks would remind me of my childhood and so would the earlier Madonna singles.
Alanis Morisette would bring the same effect but it would remind me of the good old times when I would speed down the M6 looking at the scenery.

For some reason the year that sticks out for me is 1986. I would have been 9.
It's the year I started going to record shops. Instead of visiting Hamleys toy shop after a hospital appointment in London (my reward y'see!) I'd ask to go and visit HMV or the Virgin Megastore down Oxford Street (do they still call them Megastores?)
I remember buying NOW 7, brand new. Aww!

I still bear the mental scars of watching grown adults doing the actions to "Superman" by Black Lace.

U2 Joshua Tree. I have lots of music that reminds me of my childhood but for some reason this sticks out the most.
