Debenhams is nice. They have one in Mackem-land (Sunderland) but there's one at the MetroCentre as well. I never have time for either being in South Shields or Newcastle but when I do go it always seems to be nice and clean, and they've got a good range.
The worst is Fenwicks in Newcastle, it's like a huge jumble sale.
