At Primary School we had those BBC Computers, with the CUB monitors, at the time they were top notch, but I later realised it was like Teletext, plus the Floppy disk's were rather huge. Then 1992 arrived and we got several Acorns, which were an improvement, plus we were given plenty of software that was made by Yorkshire Television.
Moved to High School, the latest cutting edge technology there was aload of RM computers that had Windows 3.1 as software, and BBC Basic as an option, yet you could do very little with them, at the same time my High school were clearing out their old BBC's for more RM's, but these had Windows 95 on them instead.
Then by the time I switched to Sixth Form, they had a massive investment and we had brand spanking new HP Invet computers, which had nothing to do with RM (hurrah!) which also carried Windows XP as OS, which for me in 2003 seemed to be brilliant as we only had Windows 98 previously...
