A good friend of mine works for the DWP (Department for Work & Pensions) in their call centre. They mostly deal with calls from London and the south-east about setting up over-the-phone applications for dole payouts.
Nearly half the callers to the call centre are from immigrants and have an extremely basic grasp of English. Some cannot even speak English at all, and an interpreter has to mediate between the call centre and the client.
Should so much of our taxes be wasted on immigrants coming into our country and scrounging off taxpayers?
It's a total disgrace. If an immigrant comes to this country, they should be forced to work from Day 1. Benefits should only be payed out to these leeches as a last resort. The same applies to all the other bone idle layabouts out there who are too lazy to get off their arses and pay their way in life.
I'm taxed on EVERYTHING I earn and spend, and it pisses me off no end when I'm working my arse off to help fund a corrupt, sleaze-ridden government that not only lets out foreign scumbags from jail to freely roam the streets murdering and raping people, but does nothing to discourage their entry to Britain aka 'Treasure Island'.
Local Elections - Make Your Vote Count
Where to start.
Ok, let's start here:
http://www.stopthebnp.org.uk/uncovered/uncovered.htm
After you've read that, let's move on to the BNP's manifesto for the 2005 General Election. To 2006 Council Manifesto isn't worth bothering with, because it's light on detail and even lighter on the facts.
BNP ON EUROPE
"Withdrawal from the European Union would therefore be the most important single foundation stone of our rebuilt British democracy. Without it, virtually nothing can be achieved."
Right, so, at a stroke our economy will pretty much collapse overnight. The BNP cite Switzerland and Norway as examples of countries which are trading happily with Europe, yet not in it, but Switzerland and Norway are not remotely like Britain in terms of fiscal management.
"Britain's net contribution to the EU is now widely estimated to run at around £1.2 million every hour of every day of the year"
That is a lie. It is not 'widely estimated' at all; the figure seems to be verging on fabrication.
BNP On Security
"In addition to this savage attack on free speech, recent decades have seen an unprecedented increase in the power and ‘reach' of the State. The surveillance technology which theoretically protects us from the nihilistic tyranny of terror in fact threatens to subject us to the perpetual tyranny of Big Brother."
Would be the same CCTV technology that is used in convicting criminals - and has been used to convict members of the BNP - for offences. Not sure anyone has ever said such surveillance technology would ever 'prevent' a terrorist attack, but when one did happen the police were able to identify with suspects within a day thanks to it.
"Our forefathers fought two World Wars partly so as to ensure that, except for the duration of those wars, they and their families would not have to prove who they were to any agent of the State who decided on a whim to ask for such information"
Well, firstly, no, they didn't. Secondly, our forefathers fought did lots of things, but it is a rather tardy society that sits around delighting in the glories of yesteryear and not bothering to open our eyes to what's happening today. That's something the BNP pride themselves on.
Immigration
"To take just one example, it is a hard fact that, according to official figures, 15% of the UK's male prison population is black, despite black people accounting for only 2% of the total population. Victim-reported figures concerning the race of criminals give the lie to the leftist argument that this is due to discriminatory prosecution. It is an inescapable statistical fact that immigration into Britain increases the crime rate."
The difference here between right-thinking people and the British National Party is that the BNP believe that these people are criminals simply because they are black and not white. They believe it is inherent in a black person's genetic make-up to commit crimes. No consideration whatsoever that ''black people'' live in proportionately far greater numbers in poor neighbourhoods, with worse environmental conditions and lower quality education on offer. No, it's because they're black that they commit crime, not because they're from deprived backgrounds.
" We will impose a permanent lifetime ban on re-entry into Britain for any reason on any person found guilty of having violated British entry or immigration laws, enforced by instant deportation."
How, exactly? You're going to line them up at the airport and send them back on the next flight? Pah. First of all you're going to have to instantly find out that this person has no right to be here, process them, interview them, etc. etc. Total head-in-the-clouds stuff.
" Recent arrests of cells of Islamic terrorists living in the country plotting mass murder in Britain illustrate the link between illegal immigration and terrorism."
Yeah, except the guys who blew themselves up weren't immigrants, were they. They were born and raised here.
"Our first step will be to shut the door. A BNP government would accept no further immigration from any of the parts of the world which present the prospect of an almost limitless flow of immigration: Africa, Asia, China, Eastern and South Eastern Europe, the Middle East and South America would all be placed on an immediate ‘stop' list. This would later be subject to review in the case of genuine students accepted for training as part of our long-term policy of helping to build up Third World economies in order to facilitate the voluntary return of their nationals or their descendants under our long-tern resettlement programme."
Right, so all those Chinese business people coming to work for, say, HSBC, when they've been transferred from the Hong Kong office to the London HQ... they'd be turned away? But, oh, wait, the white Americans, Canadians, Australians... they're fine? So, the guy from Citigroup next door to the HSBC HQ, he could come? They're not British, but they're white so that's OK. What about a black American, could he come?
''Later be subject to review in the case of genuine students"
So, what does later mean, exactly? You're going to stop students coming to the UK until you realise it was a stupid idea and change your minds? Then you'd do it on a case by case basis, PERSONALLY? So, every student (and there are tens of thousands) from China, India, etc. who comes to the UK to study, contributes thousands of pounds to the UK's educational pool, would have to be individually assessed? It is already hard enough for many third-world students to get into this country to study and get a decent education, with both our government and their government becoming increasingly cautious on visa issuing. The BNP would, therefore, deny the right of a decent education to deserving people. Righto.
The environment
"The BNP is committed to a policy of National Energy Independence based on, so far as possible, renewable energy sources supplying our national energy needs. This must be achieved within a decade of the BNP taking power. We cannot rely on foreign energy sources such as Middle East oil and Russian gas supplies, and still pretend that we are an ‘ independent' nation."
Ha! I'm something of an expert on this, so forgive me for being so amused.
Within a decade? WITHIN A DECADE? It takes five years to just get the planning permission and go-ahead to build a wind farm, and then another year or two after that to establish the infrastructure to connect one to the National Grid. As long as we are driving cars, we will be dependent upon Middle East oil. Unless the BNP have finally found a way of running them on hydrogen, I'm not sure this will work too effectively.
"We are the only true 'Green Party' in Britain because only the BNP have the resolve to end mass immigration into Britain and thereby remove at a stroke the need for the 4 million homes in the green belts of the South East and elsewhere that are currently required to house the influx of 5 million immigrants expected to enter the country under present trends over the next twenty years."
Presumably some sort of vague reference to the Thames Gateway, which is probably going to be the first major low-carbon residential project anywhere in the world.
"We will ensure that the traditional crafts and trades that are needed to preserve the unique building styles and landscapes of our country, receive all the financial and infrastructure support that we as a Government can provide. Living treasures such as thatchers, dry stone wallers, masons, carpenters , farriers and gamekeepers will be seen as key people in our society . Courses in these crafts and trades will be made more widely available and students incentivised to opt for them over moribund university courses that lead to a degree but no worthwhile employment . Our programme for restoring diverse, family farms to the ‘agri-business' prairies of much of rural England will provide greatly increased employment prospects for many trades connected with recreating an environment and landscape that is recognisably ‘English'"
Are they serious?!
Dry-stone-wallers are going to be ''key people in our society''?
Thatchers? Better start investing in the fire service again, then. Presumably the BNP won't need to because they'll just stop immigrants coming and starting fires.
Oh, hold on, thatched roofs? Now, I KNOW they aren't energy efficient. So, a land of thatched cottages populated by stout yeomen (something that never actually existing in England, and is the stuff of folklore, sadly) is going to need a lot of heat to keep warm. But it's ok, don't worry, we've got the wind farms to provide electricity, and they'll all be ready and provide us with enough for everyone within, pah, just a decade, no worries.
If you genuinely think the BNP is ''just common sense'', you've not got any.

You forgot one...
Filthy gays. Won't SOMEONE think of the CHILDREN? Well someone that isn't a gay, we don't want the forces of sodomy to reach them!Polluting Children's Minds
On the agenda for 'LGBT History Month' will be teaching children as young as seven that William Shakespeare was a closest homosexual, and too, apparently, was Florence Nightingale, as was, according to them, Sir Isaac Newton. For many British school children this will be the first they have heard of William Shakespeare, Florence Nightingale or Sir Isaac Newton and it will leave the lasting impression that it is "cool to be camp." Who are they going to "out" next? Will it be revealed that Admiral Horatio Nelson went around proclaiming "I'm the only gay on the Victory" or that Lord Kitchener and Earl Haig had inappropriate obsessions with their young conscripts?
Knight knight
It's interesting, though. The official BNP position is that they believe homosexuals are born homosexual, and that it isn't a choice... which is odd. Despite this, they think that they are a threat to society and ought to have less entitlements than ''normal'' people... i.e. someone with what the BNP perceive to be a disability shouldn't have the same rights as people who don't.
Their comms chief says otherwise though. He'd like to see legislation making homosexuality legal repealed, and gays put in prison.
Bit rich, coming from someone who is about 60 and has an 18 year old ''girlfriend''. Not that such information is available publicly, of course.

Well as you are all probably aware i have very little constuctive to say where politics is concerned.
I have to this to say on the subject of the B.N.P. The link that cat posted and his tutorial afterwards is probably the longest i've ever spent reading their policies. I have no time for the BNP although they are not the NF they are still one and the same to me no matter how they decide to dress their policies up.
Control on immigration is important to me. You can imagine what it was like here a few years ago. At one point it was a daily occurance to see groups of Kosovan, Albanian and Afghanistani men walking along the A20. It did at one point become quite scary going out of a night, Dover has always been a rough place of a night ( squaddies and locals, drugs and violence) but this was different immigrants randomly attacking innocent men and women for no reason whatsoever. The problem has now died down and the refugees that are now residing in our town, arer some of the nicest and hard working people i have met. The children study hard and some of the kids speak better English than most of the local kids.
I detest the BNP and all that they stand for. If too many people vote BNP as a protest vote then this country is in serious trouble.
I never know who to vote for as i see all parties here and abroad as having 2 pockets and corrupt to some degree.
I hope that makes some sense

Mental anxiety, Mental breakdowns, Menstrual cramps, Menopause... Did you ever notice how all our problems begin with Men?
True, but do I for one second believe the BNP will reverse this? Absolutely not. I cannot see any party reducing the power of the state, and a right-wing party like the BNP are least likely of all to do so.Teh BNP wrote:
