Olbas Oil is quite good for clearing your nose but using it in public makes you look like you're sniffing poppers. Which is all fair and good in the right circumstances but you might want to think twice if you're in Tescos at the time.

I love vicks vapo rub, however as i am also a fully qualified aromatherapist i have found the best way to help me breathe easier is to burn some Eucalyptus oil in an oil burner or even put a few drops onto a light bulb. Obviously having a massage using this oil is far more beneficial for alleviating cold and flu symptoms.
