Mr Cadbury is still going, though like all labradors at almost eleven, he's a tad the worse for wear with arthritis.

His daily (and somewhat expensive) drugs keep him yomping like a true member of the parachute regiment.

what's wrong with your dog anyhow?

A heart defect which drugs have kept at bay 'til recently. He now sleeps 90% of the time, struggles to go for even a short walk and trips over steps and the like. Oh and a good bit of arthritis too.

He's fifteen, and has led a good life, and none of us want to see him go into a downward spiral of visible suffering and end up dead one day half way up the garden path.
