Have you seen how ropey ATC is in this country?
It would be ridiculously easy to cause sheer panic at Swanage and take ATC offline.

So if ID Cards are obviously not going to achieve what they are supposed to then why on earth is the government obsessed with driving them through?

Easy.
So every fox can have his biometric details stored on a chip on a card, which he hands to the hound just prior to having his head bitten off.
You've got to know which fox has been phuqued, after all.
It's a requirement of the Department for the Elimination of Farming and Rural Affairs.
