Well i have a butchers through most of the papers. The independent is my paper of choice though. Which i'm pleased to say was listed in the poll, good work Sput

These days I read The Times. Only 20p a day in the "student Union" shop. They never ask if I'm a student or not. And I'm not, I just work at the university!

However, today I bought the Independent (25p!!) as they were giving away a goodie bag with it which had a DVD of some kind in it and an orange flavoured chocolate bar which tasted disgusting. Although I did have to consume all the chocolate bar just to make sure it did taste disgusting of course.

I tend to be a Mirror reader on most days when I'm at work, in our canteen the only papers they sell are The Sun, The Mirror, Daily Mail, Daily Express and the Daily Star, which seems to be the most popular, but I don't mind glancing at any if I have nothing else to do during my breaks.

If I'm off work and have time to spare then I'll buy The Guardian, which seems to be fair balanced, it also carries proper News and is good value for money considering how much comes with it.

Locally we tend to get the Warrington Guardian which comes out every Thursday and we get the Guardian Midweek pushed through on a Tuesday. Though when I venture into Manchester then I'll pick a Manchester Evening News or an MEN Lite as they hand them out to people around Piccadilly Station at peak time.

Well I should tell you this is the Morrisons Staff Canteen, and most of the staff are pretty working class and are the sort of people who don't have the time to read broadsheets.

When I look at what Newspapers are available, they do sell others such as The Times, The Indepedent, Financial Times and The Guardian though these don't sell aswell as the Daily Star which seem to have countless copies available everyday.

Though when I pop to my Sainsburys Local they seem to have a fair amount of copies of each paper available, which is good when I want to read The Guardian, after Morrisons have sold their two copies. :roll:

On a weekdays, normally the Gruniad or the Times.

On a Sunday, always the Sunday Times.

I tend to be more of an internet news man myself now, avoiding mainstream media sites and going for sites like Information Clearing House.
