Do we have any other Telewesters here to confirm if such a change has taken place?
Has it been done yet? I'm still at 1MB in Edinburgh.

According to a speed test website, I'm just under the 1MB.
Hmm. Will call them tomorrow.

Excuse me, but Wales is far superior to "oop north", where you are.

Manchester!?
Anyhew I'm currently plugged into 24meg DSL for which I'm paying sod all; back at home I have an 8meg DSL connection costing me £24.99/mo less vat.
A manchester accent can knock a southern ponce for six at twenty paces! Are you on Be?

Blueyonder is the internet name for Telewest.
I must have said it wrong. I've heard from friends that Telewest Internet are doing this.
Sorry if you thought I thought Blueyonder was a different service from Telewest.

Bloomin' Hell! How stupid were those posts, the first one was pointless as I think anyone on the internet knows that Blueyonder is the name for Telewest's broadband service and as for JC's post, I don't want to start on that.

No chance. We have loads of Mancs and scousers round my neck of the woods. Admittedly i prefer the Manchester accent it's just a little easier to understand than the Liverpudlian accent. I have a real issue with Scousers. They come down South to live through choice then gob off how crap it is down here and how great it is in Liverpoo. My usual response out of hours is.. " well eff off back to Liverpoo then".
My fave accent ( other than southern ( i'm bias)) is an Irish one. Nowhere can beat an Oirish accent.

Oh I love an Irish accent. But not quite as much as a Scottish one. Can't stand Scousers, or Cockneys. Yorkshire accents make me laugh... particularly the one of my Biology lecturer: "maaaatohconnndrionnn as seen through an electron maaaacraascooourrrrp". Say that again please Bob.
Mind isn't this thread supposed to be about Broadband upgrades?

Indeed it bloody is, but as I've had my answer from Antz you may continue to chatter amongst yourselves.
Thanks Antz.
