Believe it or not they actually launched it at TVC, not sure if that was for a fitting ode to the fact you can now get video on your iPod or that particular studio was free for hire that evening...

It was suggested that as it has a TV out on it that you could use it to effectively transfer video from your PC to watch it on the TV, and the BBC iMP was given as an example of where you could get the material to watch (when it is properly launched).

The BBC iMP uses Windows Media DRM, and I would be very surprised if in the short term you would be able to transfer anything from it to the iPod.

Also virtually everything on the BBC iMP is 16:9 and the iPod screen is 4:3...
