Credit where credits due... this forum is scraping the barrel of good English so I think the lack of a punctuation mark is hardly an identifier!

It doesn't need a question mark, for heaven's sake. It's an instruction, not a question. The second sentence is part of the rubric of the exam paper.

The original in Bart Beelezebub's post does have a full stop. It's J.Megaphone's amended version which is lacking punctuation.

I was making a very weak joke about how punctuation is not an identifyer as to the tone of posts on Metropol... it is now an extremely weak joke as I've had to explain it!
