Nurse, is my medication ready yet?
Space Dust and Bazooka bubble gum
Anyone recall green and white striped peppermints called... well I can't remember! Soft, like Chewits but minty. I remember the adverts on TV showing people wearing white clothes that acquired green stripes as they ate them. Must have been the early 80's.

On a confectionary related note, does anyone know what happened to KitKat Kubes ? I really liked them, certainly preferable to a Kit Kat I thought.
Looks like they've been withdrawn, can't find them anywhere.

They have them at my local Woolworths, but I haven't been in for some time. I think I also saw them in Sainsbury's as well the other day.Square Eyes wrote:On a confectionary related note, does anyone know what happened to KitKat Kubes ? Do shops still sell the following:
Wham bars (pink chewy bars with fizzy bits)
Space Inavaders (10p a packet - Beef flavour is YUM!!)
Irn-Bru bars (Make your mouth water, and your face screw up!
Ummm... oooh and what about Kinder eggs? Do they still make those?

Shops do still sell Space Invaders, but they tend to be your local tinpot intependent local store or your cornershop and not the big retail chains.Jamez wrote:Do shops still sell the following:

Kinder eggs - what, you mean the normal sized ones with little toys in? If so, then yes they do still sell them, again I saw some in Woolies last time I went in, along with a whole host of other Kinder spin-offs such as chocolate bars, hippos and rice crispie cake things. The big Kinder eggs are seasonal and only come out once or twice per year at Easter or Christmas.
Oh, and whatever happened to Club bars? Did they still make them? (I remember the catchy jingle that accompanied all their adverts - "If you want a lot of chocolate on your biscuit then join our club")
kinders eggs sell for 52p in WHS. Irn Bru bars - and fuck are they strong - are only sold in the video rental shop up here.Jamez wrote:Irn-Bru bars (Make your mouth water, and your face screw up!

I think you need a brace fitted to you malformed pointy face, I'd recommend the following improvements:Jamez wrote:Id better make the most of eating bad sugary food then. I'm having a brace fitted in two weeks time.

You'll notice that I've made your head a bit bigger - you'll need all the room you can find in your scull now you're a producer, a DJ and a co-director.
Go Troutie!
