On even the most well groomed and clean-skinned individuals, lip piercings look really unclean.
Yup, but I quite like an eyebrows piercing on some people..

Eyebrows are often nice. I had mine done in 1997, but let it heal up a year or so later.

I had the barrel bolt so it looked like a ball bearing above and below the brow. Face furniture doesn't suit me though I think.

I can't stand-body piercings. I have my ears pierced several times but that's it.

My step-daughter recently had her tongue pierced and a few months ago had a tattoo, at 15 ( i know, i know, i wish we had more control). I can't be a hypocrite though as i had my first tattoo at 13/14 ( one of those tacky home-made indian ink ones, on my arm of all places) and pierced my own nose at 15. I let the nose heal after about 6mnths and had my tattoo covered with another a 17.

Lip piercings are soo gross, they make you look ugly even if you're handsome.

Some geezer once asked me why people have their tongues pierced, he was quite shocked when i told him to ask their partners  :P ;)

Hmm - I like ear piercing (up on the back of the ear too) and eyebrow piericing on certain people is nice - others it just doesn't look right.

Nose, lip, chin or anywhere else I don't like it. I just don't get tounge piercings at all!!

(perhaps this could be a new topic..?)

You don't get tongue piercings! :o

I had my ear pierced at the top. It caused me nothing but grief. I persisted for quite sometime for vanity reasons only. After about a year i gave up and let it heal. It maybe that experience that put me off bodypiercings.

Simply because to make money. Why else?

Also, some of these machines are located in odd or convenient locations where banks can't be arsed to install free machines and where there is a necessity to retrieve cash. Hence the opportunity to make money.

Odd locations: Ice Skating Arena in the end part of nottingham, no free machines, one cash machine in the entrance of the sex shop... 1.50 for a tenner the bastards...
