well I have done exactly that - after my purposely vauge phone call I'm getting a replacement.

I did like how ebuyer give the waiting times for the phone line on their contact page. a very nice idea.

You know you've done well there hyma - TFT monitors are allowed to have a certain number of dead pixels depending on size and "grade" of the screen before they have to be replaced under warranty.


And Gavin - Every time I go past manchester metropolitan university (and not in thankfully) I look into their reception and they're just burning in 3 massive plasmas with static images of signs directing people to the various rooms. Your crime is small compared to theirs!

I've changed it now to display "special offers" now that the Festivals are about to start here in Edinburgh. We've got the Television, Fringe, Jazz, Book and International Festivals all starting next week.

I'm running a Xerox plasma monitor on my pc and it works a treat. Any problems in the next seven years, and they'll replace it. Not bad for just under £1000.....

well I got my monitor back on Friday, totally replaced free of charge. The new one has no broken pixel at all. Very impressed and I now love my new screen
