I'll have you know I just bought a fab pair of new shoes after work tonight.

They were an unexpected bargain when I was looking for a travel bag - in Matalan...

Do you know, of all the threads on here I've read, this one may indeed be the saddest ever.

Which must surely be deserving of an award - bottle of Cillit Bang on the way to Hyma.

Then I felt pathetic.
I'm comforted (yet disturbed) to find out that it's not just me who coin cleans. I cleaned all my coppers by soaking them in a shot glass of Cillit Bang. It was more of a test of the product than to clean the coins really - and it works.

That product, along with the aforementioned Cif, seem to be the two best cleaners around. Most others aren't worth it. You can clean nearly everything with Cif, oh and Vanish Powerspray for the all too often "Coke™ on carpet" stains.

Geez... I don't think I live in a typical student flat after all...

Am I the only one who thinks cleaning coins sounds like the behaviour of someone with obsessive compulsive disorder?

White vinegar brings them up a treat though. ;)
