I think the Sun were right. I'd publish pictures of him being ass-raped if it was up to me personally. He didn't care about the lives he ruined, tell me why I should care about runing his?

I love The Sun - always have, always will.

Pfhh... We've discussed this before, dear boy. The Sun is complete shite.

You're telling me that a third of the population of the UK bought a copy? And, recalling that total morning newspaper circulation for all titles is in the region of 12 million, not only did everybody who normally buys a paper suddenly opt for The Sun, but 8 million people who don't normally buy one also were moved to do so?

Oh, and the normal circulation for The Sun is around 3 million. Not 8 million.

As for Saddam, I don't see why it's right to publish these photos. Not only do I see it as immoral (surely the morality of a nation is best judged in how it handles the most despised, since this is one of the times when moral judgement faces its greatest challenges), but, more prosaically (but no less importantly), it also contravenes international agreements. And wasn't that exactly the reason we were given for invading his country in the first place?

I'll agree that the SUN is a very popular newspaper. I don't really get a chance to read the papers( i'm way too busy) even though i buy them everyday for my clients. The newspapers i buy are the MIRROR, MAIL, SUN, INDEPENDANT( MY newspaper of choice) and DAILY EXPRESS.
I only really read the BIZARRE column in the SUN, and most of my clients who read the SUN generally start at the back then linger on page 3.
It's not really read for it's serious and impartial * cough! cough!* news content, but it does give us all something to talk about it with the stories that it publishes. The Saddam pics is quite a hot topic at work at the mo. Everyone seems to have an opinion on it.

This cap (from the Six IIRC) of the Screws managing editor made me laugh more.

Image

He looks the complete opposite of what you'd imagine a hack from such a shitty far-right rag to look like. You can just imagine the dirty old pervert wanking over the filth in it.

I can just imagine him suing your purty white ass for defamation, too!

I'm sure you could if you moved to America.
