Can someone tell me how I can get an MP3 from my computer onto my new Samsung D500?
I asked in the shop and the bloke said I would need to buy a £30 bluetooth USB dongle. I'm not forking out £30 just right now, so would someone be able to tell me another way around it.
Is there a website where I can email my MP3's to my phone?
That Fucking Fucking FROG!!!!!!!!!!!!
The situation is now getting ridiculous - when the same advert is shown THREE TIMES during the same ad break on both ITV1 and five you just lose the will to live.
I also press mute, or much more effectively, switch over to a channel that doesn't subject it's viewers to this kind of tripe.
Whilst I understand ITV and five just rake in the money from adverts, surely they must realise just how sick the general public are of these adverts. It's gonna lose them (even more) ratings in the end!!

I’m pretty laid back about ads that are generally considered annoying but this frog shit is driving me nuts. ITV may be making a fortune out of this but must also be losing viewers (like they need to do that right now). As soon as the ad is on, I switch channels and if I find something better, I stick with it.
The ad authorities can’t do anything about it. They can regulate the content of ads and when they are shown but have no powers to regulate the play-out frequency of a commercial.
They suggest you email your regional ITV station to complain.

You can use a data cable as well but it is shit that one isn't included when its not exactly a cheap phone. I just got friends to send me songs from their phones when I first got one. The 'pure devotion' track that comes free with it is pretty good though.Jamez wrote:Can someone tell me how I can get an MP3 from my computer onto my new Samsung D500?

There's no data port on my phone, though. Unless it goes in the same slot as the headphones/loudspeaker...JC2005 wrote: You can use a data cable as well but it is shit that one isn't included when its not exactly a cheap phone.

The D500 is a great phone, had mine a few months - love the way you can have mp3's as ringtones. pisses me off a bit you are limited by the default alarm and sms noises.Jamez wrote:There's no data port on my phone, though. As far as file transferring - i use the infrared port on my laptop, it works incredibly well, although, i guess you probably would have tried this if you had a infrared port.
you can set up your phone to pick up email, i am wondering if you email it to yourself it will work? i'm not sure how it handles attachments, i've only ever download a text-only email.

Yes, me too. I just don't get the point of customisable ringtones.cdd wrote:I must say, I've often wondered what drives this puerile obsession with ringtones... try as I might I just can't explain it!
A ringtone is there to alert you to the fact that there is someone ringing you and that you should pick up quickly.
However, I see far too many people just letting it ring out until the song/tone has done at least one 'loop' before answering and subsequently barking into the handset, and that's what irritates me the most.
You're just miserable because no one ever rings you.Chris wrote:Yes, me too. I just don't get the point of customisable ringtones.cdd wrote:I must say, I've often wondered what drives this puerile obsession with ringtones... try as I might I just can't explain it!

The only thing I hate about the frog is the Mexican and Original version, and the fact that the person who designed the Crazy Frog himself gave the bastard a dick.
It's blocked out on adverts, but there's no harm on pop-ups or ads on sites. The piece of shit is disgusting!
