It's all to do with metabolism, for which you have a fast one! You burn the calories quickly. If you really were wanting to put on weight for whatever reason (some people do), you'd have to make sure you're eating a high calorific diet - much more than you're currently used to. A bit of weight training and lots of protein on top would add to your size and hence weight.
I have a fast metabolism, when i was at skool i was tall and lanky and tried the eating chocolate, crisps and chip diet to gain weight, but that resulted in the dreaded cellulite without the weight gain. I've always been active(ish), so over the years i've combined exercise with a relatively decent diet. Good advice from mr smuf. If you choose to do a bit of weight training attend a gym, they'll show you how to lift weights correctly.

I score in the healthy range in the bmi test - where's the halo emotion?

All i got to do to get really healthy is quit the cigarettes, booze and coffee.

I admit I eat very Little Fruit and Veg, I know it's not good for me, but I don't care. I'm not skinny, but I'm not fat either. But I do tend to get alot of excerise, and I'm thinner than what I was two years ago.

For instance a couple of years ago I weighed over 13 Stone, I weighed myself the other day and I was just over 11 Stone!

I also tend to drink loads of Water when I am at home, which helps a bit.

Plus I don't go to McDonalds anymore.

Well, I checked my BMI in the gym the other week (so nerrrr) and I was 18.something. Very nearly 19. Which is perfect, it told me.

I am just like DAS in the respect that I can pretty much eat anything I want and I won't put on weight.

I exercise, eat well, don't smoke, drink little, cycle for about 30 minutes a day (sometimes more).

And now I am off to wallow in my own perfection.

17.53 apparently. Underweight. Oh well.

I eat loads and never put on any weight either. Never mind.

That joke sort of works with scales, but the tremendous hilarity is lost when talking about the body mass index.

What about us fat bastards between 26 and 29.9? Does this mean I have to lose or gain a stone before I can vote? :( *Eats another Creme Egg*

Well I guess I do the healthy thing. I walk 50 minutes to and from work around a very hilly Southampton. I go to the gym three times a week for an hour and a half each time. I don't have much fat of me, except around my hips which I can't seem to shift....oh well.
