However because of the risk of it going wrong I probably won't use it.

I'm a fat git btw so could do with a load of liposuction

I bring this back up because I enquired with a plastic surgery clinic the other day.

I am a confident and happy chap in the main, as you guys have known over the last nearly 4 years.

My good looks, or debatable lack thereof, have not stopped me from doing rock-star shit since splitting up with my ultra-LTR.

However, I am finding myself more bothered as time goes on by my naturally receding chin, my dimple and eyebags, and would love to do something about them.

I am disconcerted however by the potential reactions of family, friends and future girlfriends. I am in the position again, thankfully, where I've got some proper wedge in my pocket (first time for nearly 2 years!) and I am seriously considering it. However, my bloke nature which does not admit any fault with myself is holding me back.

I'd appreciate your thoughts, gents and ladies.

To utterly prove your point Andy (and I swear this is true):

My best mate popped in on his way home tonight whilst I was standing cooking my tea. He said, "look at the muscles", as though (A) I have been working out - and I haven't, or (B) he forgot what I had done this year - which he hadn't.

And there you have it. People will make admiring comments and not know why they are doing it.

Best thing I ever did, and if you fancy a trip to Edinburgh I will give you the name of my surgeon.

It's not all good. My mate only came round to pick up the £130 I owed him.

What's the point. It's the personality and the person inside that really matters. We are all going to get old and eventually die. The sooner people come to terms with that the happier they will be.
