Or of course torrent it

But from my experience SP2 slowed our 500mhz PC down horribly, and it wasn't much better for the 2ghz Athlon XP 512 DDR. So if like us you've got a really old, slow comp, just use a combo of zonealarm, AVG Free and MS Antispyware you should be fine, oh and stay away from cracks sites!

Probably because it contains all the fixes from previous service packs as well. Remember that with Windows service packs you don't have to apply previous ones to get the new SP, if you see my meaning.
Personally I will NOT be applying SP2 yet. From what I've read, the type of processor I have in my box (a P4 "Prescott") can cause god-knows amount of problems with SP2 - from the computer locking up totally/hanging on a blue screen upon loading Windows, to it running slower in general. I do not wish to waste time re-loading Windows if that is the case - I have better things to do with my time than wiping this machine, reinstalling windows, reinstalling all my applications and turning off their irritances/useless features.
Plus, I do not wish to have my memory clogged up by that stupid security centre which I do not want or need - I have antivirus and firewall software already, and know how to use the damn things, so why should I have BillyG continuously bugging me all the time?

I have never experienced a problem with SP2. I have two PC's with it, a 128MB Ram, Pentium 4 eMachines and a 512MB Ram, Pentium 4 Dell. Both computers haven't suffered from slowdowns and I've never got these weird crashes. The only downside was that I could not get a WaveFinder as it won't work with SP2.

AdAware doesn't remove the '180solutions' spyware, because 180s, persuaded the SpyWare removal companies that their software ISN'T spyware, when quite obviously it is.
Be ware of what's on your computer!

Are you forgetting Microsoft AntiSpyware is free now. It's the best peice of kit too (used to be sold and made for a high price by Giant Software).
