Well, I've been to see my GP today, a bit worried about my scar as the top isn't healing as well as the rest of it. Good job I went as there is a very good reason for it not healing... there's a bit of wire sticking out of it! Presumably from the breastbone they have to wire up. So this may involve another trip over to Leeds to get it "pruned." Yuck!

Glad to hear it well. Well done for going to get your scar checked. A friend of mine has an op on her foot, the scar didn’t heal properly meaning a cast couldn’t be put on, meaning she ended up making the foot worse because she had to walk on it when she really shouldn’t have been. Moral - Get odd things checked out ASAP.
