Some good news
Well, if you're an NTL customer (in some regions) you can today get your broadband speed doubled for no extra charge.

The bad news
1 gig a day download limits - apparently for real this time (they've *said* they have this already but we've done 16 gigs in the last 5 days).

You can get the update if you go to ntlworld's site and follow the "upgrade my speed" link.

After going to that site you'll be 2MB and 200k up (with a 1 gig/day cap enforced later this year)

Depends on your make of box. Some can only go up to 1mb, I forget which one. That'll be later in the year, if it's a box that can't handle the new speeds you can arrange an exchange.
