Well said DAS, it's just another slap in the face for the children. Some people just...don't care.

*COMES RUNNING ON WITH A GIANT SIZED NECTAR CARD TO MAKE PLEDGE*

I can probably stake the claim for having the *MOST* Nectar points amongst forumers here, current total standing at 3,285.

I got excited last month when the Nectar people sent me my statement and told me that if I hit 3 Nectar outlets during the course of the month, I'd qualify for *TRIPLE* points that month. They didn't need to ask twice. I had no problems hitting BP & Sainsburys, but the third outlet was proving more difficult. Not having much cause to spend anything in Adams, I went and bought a Bacardi Breezer and a bag of pork scratchings from Thresher, just to qualify for this Nectar points windfall.

Thus far, I've resisted the evil permed Deirdrie Rachid lookalike on the checkout and her attempts to get me to redeem them against my purchases in Sainsburys, hoping that *ONE* day I would have enough for an ear and nose hair trimmer. However, I have been moved by tvmercias appeal, and will now consider donating some of my points to a charadeee of James's choosing.

Well, if we are going to play Mr Bigshot here, I am going to outdo everyone in the Boots Advantage Card stakes.

I have over 20 pounds on my Advantage Card. TWENTY POUNDS.

I do not have to hand how many points this amounts to, but it is a significant number.

Tempting though it is to donate them to the children, however, I feel that a line of Clinique cosmetics would probably not benefit them in a significant way.

My flatmate, however, has 80 pounds on her card. I kid you not. I don't think she has redeemed her points for the past 4 years.
