It's true, I might have ended up expressing an interest in, "What's your favourite Jubilee Line..." something or other.

And meant it. It's scary.

Take some rest, eat lots of fresh food, and let the bug take it's course.
If there is a bug, Voice loss isn't always a symptom of something else.

The Vocalzone things I reccommended above don't mask or numb, they lubricate the throat

Thanks for the tips - it's actually worse today! I have never had such a sore throat in my whole life ... I can barely manage a squeak - will it get better quickly???

As far as I know, Metropol 24/7 hasn't got its doctorate yet - how the heck do we know if it's going to get better quickly?!

Throats are just funny things - but lots of water always seems to help me, and can vouch for the pills mentioned above - for those of us who use their voices every morning as part of their job they're essential, definitely part of my 'voice toolbox'...!

Worst fear is always getting to work (radio station) at 5am and then not being able to speak - wouldn't be good!

Would you, per chance, be acting like a complete tit on purpose?

As I suspect you're probably still in bed (who with is the question...) or either very hungover, let me upload the file for you...

Do enjoy, cringe - and don't listen if you're eating...
