HBK,

Themes directly contradict Apple's strict Human Interface Guidelines... therefore, you will never see Apple ship an operating system that directly supports theming without a 3rd party application. Fortunately for us, though, there are tools like Unsanity's ShapeShifter that do an excellent job and leave no residual effects on the OS.

By the way, have you ever visited http://www.maxthemes.com? There are a bunch of very well put together themes that work perfectly with ShapeShifter.

Just installed shapeshifter and i love it. (got it set to the NeXT theme, alway's loved the look of the NeXTSTEP/OPENSTEP OSs)
