It's all very well if you PLAN to shop, but what if you're coming back late from somewhere and fancy a quick trip to tesco for some kind of delicious snack.
Just because you don't go shopping on whims it doesn't mean that others don't. DOn't be so closed minded.
I don't mean to single you out, but I am sick and tired of hearing these pathetic reasons why sunday trading should continue to be banned. Strange as it may seem, people have the choice of when they want to work, when they want to shop, and when they want to stay at home. There's no reason whatsoever for these laws which seem rooted in religion/tradition than any actual meaning.
The ban on wheel clamping and the lack of stupid sunday trading laws are two very good reasons for moving to scotland if you ask me.
