That is certainly an option, Nick. The forthcoming iPlayer on Freesat (if you've plugged the freesat box into your broadband router) sounds like it might be a facility you'd be able to make use of which doesn't seen to be coming to Sky any time soon.

I believe the Humax HD recorder will allow you to record two things and watch a third live channel if that channel is also one of the two multiplexes being recorded.
