I'm all about getting a laugh at someone's expense, but there's got to be a squillion TV Forumers who deserve it better.
I'm sorry.

But it's ok to have a laugh at someone, as long as you don't like them?

I think he means provided they've given you a reason not to like them, like acting like a little tosser all the time.

I shouldn't really have been posting anything last night. Back from a wedding. Quite pissed.

Er... well, yes Jez is a good sort; but I'm sure he's more than capable of sticking up for himself. I was wading in as one does when one is steaming drunk.

As you were.

Why does this happen? You can go for night out, go to a function, go on holiday, basically do anything, but once you're back you have to get to the computer and see what's been happening.

As soon as we're through the door after a holiday, whilst the other half is unpacking the suitcase and sorting out the washing, I'm checking emails, on Facebook and looking at the forums - until I get shouted out that 'I need your whites for the machine'...

Bit odd/sad - or just normal in this day and age?

I'll give you sad.

On the way to the wedding I remember thinking not just that I was missing X Factor and The Cube, but also that I would be missing the resultant forum chatter about an evening of telly.

But yes - if the internet were a religion, I'd be devout.

That goodness its all so decadently hollow.

They locked the thread in the general forum, but seem to be leaving the newsroom one alone. I haven't even had my regular warning e-mail for not being warm and welcoming to the dear boy.
